At Terra Summer, we specialize in transforming outdoor spaces into personalized, multi-functional spaces. This time, we embraced a commercial venture that redefines elevated experiences with sky-high standards.

Welcome to the Marriott Terrace at the heart of Quebec, a meticulously designed open-air restaurant where hospitality, luxury, and functionality meet. Perched on the 11th floor, this impressive space features three seamlessly integrated Terra Summer XL pergolas with custom features, covering over 630 square feet.

The double pergolas shelter a sleek stone bar, multiple dining tables, and an ambiance perfect for indulging in high-end gastronomy, fine wine, and vibrant DJ-led happy hours. Designed to cater to hotel guests and anyone looking for an unforgettable view, the Marriott Terrace Pergola sets the stage for extraordinary moments with friends and coworkers.

As a globally renowned brand, Marriott sought premium aesthetics to complement their existing restaurant and elevate the experience for their regular clientele. The design incorporates darker tones, creating a sleek, modern ambiance that reflects the brand's upscale image.

To optimize functionality, the terrace is equipped with four Infratech heaters, keeping the bar and seating areas warm and inviting even during cooler months. This thoughtful addition allows guests to enjoy the space well beyond the summer season. For chillier nights or unpredictable weather, the adjustable rooftop blades provide both shade from the sun and protection from rain, ensuring uninterrupted comfort.

For enhanced privacy, we installed adjustable privacy shutters at the end of the pergola, strategically placed near the DJ booth to shield the area from neighboring views. There are a total of 3 Lumina panels, each 5' wide, but the shutters have been made with two separate sections: 3' for the bottom part and 9' for the upper part. This allows each of the 6 panels to open and close independently, providing even more control over the level of protection and privacy desired.

This project with Marriott showcases ultimate flexibility, featuring added sections and an extension integrated into three XL pergolas for a total of 630 square feet. It has been re-imagined as a rooftop setting designed to host large groups and is equipped with key features, motorized screens, privacy shutters, heaters, ambient evening LED lighting, and premium aluminum. This successful collaboration among the hotel chain, engineers, real estate development company, and other key stakeholders represents a remarkable commercial achievement.
