The goal of this featured custom poolside project was to extend the liveable space of the home, creating an outdoor sanctuary that offers a reprieve from the sun and a refuge to rest, day or night. To ensure this space could offer an outdoor escape throughout the seasons, the structure was enhanced with features that allow guests to enjoy a spa-like atmosphere in any weather.
With an elegant black finish, the motorized Dura Louvered Pergola blends flawlessly into the architecture of the home. This minimal, modern structure is made from durable aluminum, making it resistant to wear in any climate and requiring little maintenance. The design of this high-end outdoor living space was entirely customized to ensure it aligned with the house’s black-panelled windows and carbon fencing for a clean and consistent motif.
The motorized swivelling blades on the pergola’s roof provide cover from sun or rain, adjustable at the touch of a button for partial or full shade, and complete rain protection. The blades can be positioned to offer natural ventilation in the heat of summer, or insulation in the heart of winter. Available in a variety of colours, the pergola acts as a contemporary backdrop, whether intended to blend in or stand out.
This structure easily transforms from an open, airy shelter to a completely enclosed room, thanks to the technology of the Dura Motorized Screens — a fully automated system, operated by a wireless remote, to provide shade, wind and bug protection, as well as privacy on demand.
With high-quality installation ensuring a flush fit from frame to ground, the walls of the structure can lift or be drawn as needed throughout the day to protect from the elements.
The lockable Dura Swing Door, featured on this pergola, offers ease for guests coming and going, as well as added security.
